This leadership roundtable was a great opportunity to hear from John Thwaites former Deputy Premier of Victoria and Peter McMullin, Deputy President, Victorian Employers’ Chamber of Commerce and Industry, about the difference they are making in Timor Leste. We were inspired by the leadership that John and Peter are providing, particularly given the enormity of the challenge in Timor Leste. Senior business leaders who attended the leadership roundtable were pleased to connect with this important work. It was a timely reminder that we have it pretty good in Australia and that leadership is about making a difference.
